Hi James, love the new Horizons 'Hadley's Hope' video, i'm sure our readers will want to know, What gigs / tour dates do you have planned for this year?
James: we have loads of shows most of which you can find on our facebook page also we are currently arranging & booking a UK tour with an agency with our buds Killing the Tyrant!!
once the dates are booked and sorted we will be announcing the tour pretty soon!! very excited!!
How's the album coming on, got much material?
James: In between playing gigs etc we are working hard on our writing our follow up to 'Worlds Among Us' (Download FREE Here), we have about 2/3 songs near completion and loads of ideas floating around but the writing process is coming along nicely!!
Influences?
James: My influences?? - well I have loads really...I try and take a more positive outlook on life, I take experiences from things that happen and write about overcoming them this can apply to anything as well - sounds like a cliché answer but its the truth!
Favourite local bands?
James: My fave local bands are Ghost hardware these lads are so good at what they do!!
I have alot of fave bands but at the mo am really excited about the new It prevails & Hundredth albums, It prevails are an all time fave, incredible band gave me alot of inspiration and lyrically helped me through the bad times.
What would be your dream gig?
To play a legendary fest like ghostfest or hevy fest..... Download's good - but those fest i mentioned are like a huge deal for a band like us to play
Where did you all meet?
James: We all knew each other from other bands shows etc....me and Ross have been close friends for years knew he played a little so he gave bass a shot and like it haha, was in a previous band with tom and wanted to do more melody but with heaviness this was the core of the band at the start, brad I met at a few shows, knew he was mint on guitar & liked the same sorta music like we did , luke wasnt our original drummer but I pestered him like mad until he gave in and came in on drums hahah and this line up is HORIZONS
One final thought / comment for our readers?
James: Always work hard for what you want and good things come to those who wait, patience will always be a virtue and positivity lies in the others perspective.
